Anyone going through a challenging short term situation due to any health related situation or catastrophic loss.
Some examples include, but are not limited to:
• Help during health related treatments
• Aid during rehabilitation after injury, surgery, or illness
• Assistance after a loss of a home to a fire
• Support after a loss of a family member
Families today are smaller, more spread out and not always nearby to assist loved ones. Families and friends are always the first source of support. We don’t want to replace this, but support it. Caregivers, whomever that may be, need a break sometimes. Sometimes the person injured or sick doesn’t want to overwhelm their family and friends. This is where we hope to provide assistance. This gives the caregivers a break and relieves some of the burden on the family.
Anyone can request help for someone as long as the person is open to receiving assistance. The amount of assistance received is decided upon by the HART team after assessing each particular situation. Confidentiality is of the upmost importance while providing the services requested to our clients.
